Career Planner

Career Planner is an online platform that helps Snohomish School District students in grades 7–12 complete key elements of their High School and Beyond Plan. Through annual counseling presentations, students are guided to complete skill and interest assessments that aid in identifying career goals. The platform creates a personalized portfolio based on these assessments and the information students enter, allowing them to record their experiences, recognitions, and achievements.

Students are encouraged to complete interest surveys each year, as preferences may change over time. They can also use the platform to develop a resume, upload certificates or awards, and explore careers, set goals, and research post-high school training or college options. Career Planner, available via Hello ID, is also accessible in Spanish.

High School and Beyond Plan

The High School and Beyond Plan is a graduation requirement for every student. It's a process for students, parents, and teachers to guide students through high school and think about their future. Plans are personalized and designed to help students set, visualize, and work to achieve goals. A High School and Beyond Plan is one of the three components, along with Credit and Subject Area Requirements, and Graduation Pathway Options, that Washington students must complete to achieve a high school diploma.
